Mr.Richard Donchian is known as the father of trend following.
His original trend following ideas form the basis of all trend following success that has followed including Mr. Richard Dennis.

According to Mr. Ed Sekota, Richard Donchian said that a purely mechanical trend following system could beat the markets.
First, he thought that this is impossible.
Amazingly, his theories tested true.
So, why not start with MA 2 and MA5.

CI DOWN - STILL CHINA'S INFLUENCE
CI down yesterday in tandem with the fall in China markets.
They said the fall was that the Chinese government will increase interest rate.
As usual for the market players, the herd instinct still persist. Everybody sold their positions.
Who is buying then? That is zero sum. Profits are made from losses by others.
Almost all markets fall yesterday with the Singapore markets getting a severe beating.

NEW FRIEND IN THE BLOG
I just receive something from Puan Nuraina A Samad. Rasa ada excitement sebab datang dari seorang yang terkenal.
I used to read her articles.
Actually I admire her and her writings.
Whenever there was an article written by her, I will not missed reading it. Biasanya dalam NSTP lah.

CRUDE PALM OIL FUTURES
Crude palm oil closes lower to 2203.
My model shows that it is time to short the market or take the profits made.

CI CLOSING HIGHER
CI today closes higher, 1330.26, creating a new high in the Bursa Malaysia.
It looks still stable but we have to be carefull before somebody pulls the plug.

Currently, due to the size of my fund, I am now trading the CI futures and CPO futures. I do not trade the share markets because the profit margin is low and also it (the shares movement) are very slow.
