As trend followers (tf) we dont care about the news, just stick with your models. All these news will actually make the market volatile and it's good for TF. Just follow. If possible blackout yourself with all the news :)
It may go down but monitor using the shorter intervals.
Best style is to use the closing price. Ignore the volatility during the trading time.
